About Forty1
Our Mission
At Forty1, we are a faith-based nonprofit organization rooted in Christian values. Our primary goal is to support individuals struggling with addiction as they begin or continue their recovery journey. Drawing from personal and shared experiences, we believe that a commitment to spiritual growth can help lighten life’s burdens.
Our mission includes:
- Providing financial assistance for entry fees to recovery homes or rehabilitation centers
- Supplying essential items such as clothing, hygiene products, meals and transportation
- Offering mentorship, guidance and community support to strengthen spiritual lives
- Connecting individuals with employment resources and educational materials for growth
Forty1 operates entirely through donations, fundraisers and sponsorships – 100% of donated funds go directly toward advancing our mission. Looking ahead, we aspire to establish our own Chirstian Training program where individuals can develop life skills such as responsibility, accountability and job readiness in a supportive, faith-centered environment.
Why Forty1?
Throughout scripture, the number 40 represents a period of testing, preparation, or transformation- always followed by a breakthrough on day 41.
- It rained for 40 days and nights in Noah’s time-on day 41, the sun came out
- Moses hid in the desert for 40 years – on year 41, God called him to rescue Israel
- Moses spent 40 days on Mount Sinai – on day 41, God gave the Ten Commandments
- The Israelites wandered 40 years in the wilderness – on day 41, they entered the promise land
- Goliath taunted Israel for 40 days – on day 41, David defeated him
- Jonah preached repentance for 40 days – on day 41, God spared Nineveh
- Jesus fasted and was tempted for 40 days – on day 41, the devil fled
- After his resurrection, Jesus appeared to his disciples for 40 days – on day 41 He ascended into Heaven
